Feel free to reach out to @glndschools counselors and support team if you need assistance. https://www.goochlandschools.org/o/gcps/page/mental-health

When you visit RES, your first moment of #joy comes from the smiling faces of Ms. Upton and Ms. Ware in our front office. We adore these two ladies for being welcoming - and for doing so much work behind the scenes to keep our school running smoothly. #gratitude30 #weRrandolph

We see miracles every day across our school division. Who makes these miracles happen? Every member of Team Goochland! Thank you for EVERYTHING you do! https://youtu.be/DFSgB_XlB0I

There was a lot of team spirit this morning at the VSBA 5K in Williamsburg! Thank you, Ms. Horn, for our Bulldog accessories!

Throughout the #seasons, our kindergarten students experience joy - and it's all due to their amazing teachers! We are grateful for Ms. Alvis, Ms. Austin, Ms. Neiditch, and Ms. Tysinger for modeling kindness and excitement for learning with our youngest Roadrunners. #gratitude30

As we approach the upcoming holiday season, we wanted to provide you with some community resources in case you may need assistance. Wishing you health and wellness!

Congratulations to @GoochlandHigh Senior and Student School Board Representative, Alexander Peskin, for winning the @VaSchoolboards exhibitor’s scholarship! #excellence

Randolph appreciates our school nurse, Ms. Usry. She has made #health and wellness a priority. Her warmth and caring demeanor ensures parents that their kids are in safe hands. #gratitude30 #weRrandolph

Thank you to our support staff who keep our schools running smoothly and ensure students have clean and comfortable classrooms, access to healthy meals, working technology, and safe transport to and from school! Your efforts to make @glndschools are greatly appreciated!

Take a moment to review this Fall's Annual Report to Our Community that includes profiles of our alumni and other important information regarding the work being done @glndschools. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1yms54OdGJcQyvzdPMR_1mYkL63bzoeMY/view?usp=sharing

As we all work together to maximize each student's potential, families and community members can help make the GCPS instructional program even stronger by volunteering, sharing expertise, and working with students. We are all in this together! Strong schools = strong community

The poet, Victor Hugo, once said, “Music expresses that which cannot be put into words.” At RES, we cannot put into words how overjoyed we are to have Mr. Powers teaching our students about the importance of music in their lives. #gratitude30 #weRrandolph

Our House Leaders have been helping the local community by collecting #food for the Goochland Christmas Mother. These students set a goal to bring in as many donations as possible. We appreciate these amazing student leaders! #gratitude30 #weRrandolph

As we have in the past, we ask for everyone's assistance in supporting a healthy school environment - stay home when sick, wash hands, cover your cough/sneeze. We can get through this together!

This week during American Education Week, we celebrate the contributions of Team Goochland! Did you know…the typical GCPS teacher spends at least 12-15 hours outside of school planning lessons, grading assignments, communicating with families, and supporting students?

Randolph Families,
Please access the Sunday message here:

Let's make it a great week,
Melissa Reams, Principal

Randolph students have enjoyed getting to know our new School Resource Officer, Deputy Leabough. His #kindness and caring demeanor help our students feel safe at school. We're grateful to the Goochland County Sheriff's Office for making our students a priority. #gratitude30

The Randolph PTA is a special part of our school community. They #work behind the scenes to provide opportunities for our students and teachers to have memorable experiences that will last a lifetime. We appreciate everything that they do for us! #gratitude30

The Veterans Day assembly began with an extra special surprise as Ms. Steeley and the 4th grade team were awarded grants from the Goochland Education Association. We’re excited to see their project ideas come to fruition this year.

Our School Counselors, Ms. Ambrose and Ms. Graham, are approachable, valued, respected, and truly care for our school family. They help to create a culture of success by helping students have a positive growth mindset and focus on how to work through their #feelings. #gratitude30
