Local firefighter, Jamie Potter, visited RES today to share a book she wrote with our students. After sharing her book, Fire Safety A-Z, she talked about Fire Safety Month and explained some of the gear that she wears for her job.

Tonight's GHS football game is still on at 6 PM! However, with the forecasted weather, we are going to cancel the reading parade to celebrate the Summer Reading Program participants. Congratulations to the winners of Randolph’s Science Fiction Bookmark Design Contest! The winning designs will be featured in the library as free bookmarks for all students to enjoy.
Youth Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) is a course that teaches individuals how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental illnesses. The training provides skills needed to provide initial help and support to those developing a mental health problem or experiencing a crisis. GCPS is holding Youth MHFA trainings on October 24 and October 25.
