This morning, @DrJRaley began his day w/ Ms. Collins who drives students from RES, GMS, and GHS. Today @ 6:30 a.m. in 24 degree weather, she was checking her bus to ensure everyone's safety, part of her daily pre-trip routine. THANK YOU to our dedicated and professional drivers!
Randolph's First Lego League team 4639, The Power People, had an awesome time at the championship this weekend. They won the Steve Scherr Gracious Professionalism Award! We are very proud of these impressive 4th and 5th graders.

Only one week to go until the exciting APEX Glow Run fundraiser! Please check the attached schedule to see when your child will be participating. Be sure to arrive at RES with enough time to sign in at the office with your photo ID before heading to the gym for the big event!
Randolph’s Spelling Bee took place this morning. Congratulations to our top three spellers who will compete against BES, GES, and GMS students in the countywide Spelling Bee. We are so proud of all of the participants! #weRrandolph
One of our House Leaders recently moved away. We were sad to see Nora go and have been grateful for her leadership. That left an opening for a new Wave House Leader. Congratulations to this young man from Ms. Nolan’s class! We are excited to have him join the House Leader Team!
Remember that we have an anonymous tip line for our students, staff, families, and community to report any concerns they have. Multiple platforms are available to make a report: email, web, text, phone.

Randolph is fortunate to have such a caring therapy team. Ms. Borzelleca, Ms. Mangine, and Ms. McKenna-D'Ambrosio understand the importance of #self-love and teaching students to develop confidence. They put their hearts into their work and we're so appreciative. #gratitude30
All five of our schools have been collecting gently used winter coats and jackets over the past 2 weeks as part of our Winter Coat Drive. We have received a considerable amount of donated coats and jackets and would like to give these coats to students in need. If your child is in need of a winter coat or jacket, please complete this https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1JbSXoppjFieJllcOXsMkf8tJym5gI0-9e2jxdSWbs1E/viewform?ts=6383f580&edit_requested=true so that we can assist you. Please contact our school social worker, Kristin Dunnigan (kdunnigan@glnd.k12.va.us), with any questions or concerns.
We're grateful to the GCPS Technology department for allowing Mr. DeArras to spend time at RES each week. He's incredibly helpful in assisting us with our tech needs and he has amazing #ideas when he coaches our LEGO robotics team. We appreciate his positivity! #gratitude30
PE teacher, Ms. Hanna, helps students focus their Positive #Energy and achieve success through movement. The kids adore her - and we do, too! Ms. Hanna makes us all stronger through her genuine willingness to help others, her encouragement, and her zest for life. #gratitude30

Randolph's #Art teacher, Ms. Pepper, is friendly and welcoming. She encourages students to trust themselves to explore their creative ideas and develop confidence. We are delighted to have such a calm, caring environment for our budding artists. #gratitude30 #weRrandolph
Our cafeteria monitors, Ms. Good and Mr. Kysar, have been teaching a #routine for how to appropriately use the cafeteria. They ensure that students learn table manners and show respect as they enjoy time together while eating lunch! #gratitude30
