As we have in the past, we ask for everyone's assistance in supporting a healthy school environment - stay home when sick, wash hands, cover your cough/sneeze. We can get through this together!

This week during American Education Week, we celebrate the contributions of Team Goochland! Did you know…the typical GCPS teacher spends at least 12-15 hours outside of school planning lessons, grading assignments, communicating with families, and supporting students?

Randolph Families,
Please access the Sunday message here:

Let's make it a great week,
Melissa Reams, Principal

Randolph students have enjoyed getting to know our new School Resource Officer, Deputy Leabough. His #kindness and caring demeanor help our students feel safe at school. We're grateful to the Goochland County Sheriff's Office for making our students a priority. #gratitude30

The Veterans Day assembly began with an extra special surprise as Ms. Steeley and the 4th grade team were awarded grants from the Goochland Education Association. We’re excited to see their project ideas come to fruition this year.

The Randolph PTA is a special part of our school community. They #work behind the scenes to provide opportunities for our students and teachers to have memorable experiences that will last a lifetime. We appreciate everything that they do for us! #gratitude30

Coming to a school near you, today.........The Goochland Education Foundation will be visiting schools to deliver checks to the winners of Strategic Innovation Grants. 10 winners will be notified today......who will they be?

Thank you to all members of Team Goochland who have served our great nation!

Our School Counselors, Ms. Ambrose and Ms. Graham, are approachable, valued, respected, and truly care for our school family. They help to create a culture of success by helping students have a positive growth mindset and focus on how to work through their #feelings. #gratitude30

Please join @glndschools in thanking our veterans for their service to our nation.

The third graders honored our Veterans tonight with a wonderful concert. Thank you to Mr. Powers for your leadership! #weRrandolph

Multiple resources are available to support students and families in need. Feel free to contact a member of our mental health team or call 988 for immediate assistance. https://www.goochlandschools.org/o/gcps/page/mental-health

"Mystery creates #wonder and wonder is the basis of man's desire to understand." Neil Armstrong's quote so perfectly defines the 5th grade experience at Randolph. This team of teachers encourages students to make deeper connections beyond what they are learning. #gratitude30

Thank you for sending in donations for the Goochland Christmas Mother Food Drive. We are thrilled with the Randolph community's effort to help those in need. Please continue to donate canned or boxed food items - like rice and beans or pasta - until November 17.

Now that we are nearly one third of the way through the current school year, it is time to start the process of looking ahead to the 2023-24 school year. Please take a moment to share your thoughts as we create our spending plan for next year. https://forms.gle/wypabbcEefr3bXeT6

Randolph's third grade teachers are wonderful at helping our students build relationships and make a #connection to one another. We appreciate the time and dedication that our teachers make to create safe and caring learning environments. #gratitude 30
