#RockYourHouse day on October 21st started with the 4th grade “Spooky Night” musical performance led by Mr. Powers. Songs like “Stayin’ Alive” were a perfect introduction to the #rockyourschool theme for the day’s activities!

@DrJRaley met with our scholars @werRandolph today to learn more about their school experience. These students reported teachers who care about them and provide them with fun learning activities. Each one of them rated their school as an A+! #stronGer

October is National Bullying Prevention month. At RES, we want our school to be a welcoming and safe “home away from home." Unity Day is a day for us to stand together and unite against bullying. Wear ORANGE on October 19th to show Unity for kindness, acceptance, and inclusion.

New GES Update: Bid packages were sent to our 8 pre-qualified bidders today. Bids will be opened on Nov 17. A School Board work session will be held on Nov 22 & a joint work session with both the School Board & Board of Supervisors will be held Nov 29 to discuss this project.

Our school buses travel hundreds of miles every day to get our students to and from school school safely. As we recognize National Bus Safety Week, please help us keep our students safe by slowing down around campuses & obeying stop signs and lights when in use.

4th & 5th grade classes welcomed the GHS Bulldogs & parent volunteers for a Task Card Tailgate during Homecoming Week. Students reviewed skills learned during the 1st marking period & earned chances to play games. This collaboration was a true celebration of learning!
