There's nothing ~wacky~ about good attendance. Consistent school attendance helps students build strong study habits, stay on top of their work, and develop social skills. Thank you to all who have participated in our Spirit Week! #AttendanceMatters

Shiver me timbers! Mrs. Davis and her second graders celebrated International Talk Like a Pirate Day today. Let's hope none of our mateys had to walk the plank! #weRrandolph
This morning the RES Watch D.O.G.S. gathered together to kick off our third year of this outstanding program. The Dads of Great Students WATCH D.O.G.S.® organization helps provide positive male role models for the students, demonstrating by their presence that education is important. Meanwhile, the D.O.G.S. provide extra sets of eyes and ears to enhance school security, reduce bullying and provide a greater sense of campus safety allowing students and teachers to focus on learning and instruction. #weRrandolph

Our Roadrunners had the opportunity to meet other students and teachers in their Houses this afternoon during our first House Huddle of the school year. Each group met their House Leaders and began building relationships with others across different grade levels! #weRrandolph
September is Attendance Awareness Month!
Showing up for school has a huge impact on a student’s academic success. Starting in kindergarten, missing 10% of school (or just 2 days every month) can make it harder to learn to read and cause children to fall behind in school.
Help us celebrate outstanding attendance with Attendance Awareness Spirit Week!
Monday, September 23: Dress to Impress Day
Tuesday, September 24: Team Day
Wednesday, September 25: Wacky Tacky Day
Thursday, September 26th: Color Day
Friday, September 27th: Pajama Day

We are pleased to introduce our new Speech-Language Pathologist, Ms. Worcester!
Fun Facts:
-This is her 18th year working as a school-based SLP.
-She enjoys riding bikes, playing board games, listening to music, and reading (especially mysteries).
-Ms. Worcester is a mother to four children.
-She has two dogs: a lab mix named Sky and a beagle named Moo!
Welcome to the Roadrunner family, Ms. Worcester! #weRrandolph
The RES Girls on the Run program begins September 16th! Each practice begins with a heart to heart conversation about a certain topic (like friendship or self esteem), then ends with physical activity (a mini warm-up and a "run" - any movement forward). At the end of the season, our Girls on the Run team will celebrate with a 5k and do a community service project! #weRrandolph
